Copper bonded earth rods - externally threaded
Normal copper(stainless steel,galvanized) bonded earth rods-254 microns(customized available) are manufactured by electroplating 99.9 % pure electrolytic copper onto a low carbon steel bar with high tensile strength (minimum 600N/mm2). To prevent oxidation of copper bonding, each rod is treated with benzol triozole derivatives. Threads on the rods are formed by roll threading process giving extra strength to the threads and eliminating risk of chipping of threads while driving the rod in the ground, The rods are externally threaded and matched with couplers interaction.

who come into contact
● BS2874, Copper and Copper Alloy Rods and Sections (Other Than Forging Stock)
● IEC 364554: Electrical Installations of Buildings (earthing arrangements and protective conductors).
● IEC 228: Conductors of Insulated Cables.
● ANSI C114.11973: Recommended Practice for earthing of Industrial and Commercial Power Systems (IEEE Std. 1421972).
● BS 125: Hard Drawn Copper and Copper Cadmium Conductors for Overhead Power Transmission Purposes.
● BS 183: General Purpose galvanized Steel wire strand
● BS 6485: PVC Covered Conductors for Overhead Power Lines.
