The ANZ series dead end clamps has been designed to securely but gently terminate ADSS aerial fiber optic cables. A two component design consisting of appropriate size and length of structural reinforcing rods and dead-end component is required to transfer axial tensile loads and distribute radial compressive forces through the plastic jacket and onto the internal strength members without damaging the fragile plastic jacket or internal optical fibers. Be made of galvanized steel wire or aluminum clad steel and preformed into the process when prefabricated beam, inner wall layer of emery stick, and enhance the friction between clamp and cable.
ADSS deadend clamp
The ANZ series deadend clamps have simple and stable structure, easy to install and low price, especially designed for short span ADSS cable.
Feature:
(1) Stress can be distributed equally among the ADSS cable surface without stress centralization to protect ADSS cable.
(2) It can have higher grip strength for the cable and can support higher tensile force when stress doesn’t exceed the optical cable’s side strength.
(3) The grip strength for the cable is not less than 95% of rated tension strength (RTS) of the optical cable, fully suitable for the installation of ADSS cable
Application:
(1) Terminal pole tower, tension pole/tower,
(2) Pole/tower with corner angles greater than 15°and RTS no more than 10kN
(3) Suitable for city ADSS cable installation.

Structure and Raw Material:
(1) Clevis Thimble: Hot galvanized cast steel. Clevis Thimble is plugged in bend of Outer Reinforcing Rods for protection and connected.
(2) Inner reinforcing Rods: Inner reinforcing rods are made of aluminium clad steel rods. With a layer of particle emery inside, Inner Protection Rods can increase friction and decrease side pressure to cables. Rods are made into four subsets which can reduce misalignment errors and speeds installation. The ends are bent outward to avoid stress to OPGW cables.
(3) Outer dead-end Rods: Rods are made into one subset with a layer of firm emery inside, in order to increase gripping power of Outer Reinforcing Rods while decreasing side pressure. Sets are color marked to reduce misalignment errors and to speed installation
